Well what a busy end to the year we had! December always seems to be the same every year, its just non stop, but in a wonderful festive way!
We always like to finish the year with a Christmas Presentation and this year was no different to any other. The only difference was that due to performing in Joseph at the Theatre Royal in October followed by a TWO week half term, rehearsals couldn’t start until November so it was full steam ahead!!
I sometimes think students work better that way, there is a definite visible goal which means not shoving speeches to the back of the drawer for a couple of weeks before forgetting where that ‘safe place’ was!
Our Christmas presentation took our audience on a journey showing all the different lessons that we offer. It showcased the work that students had been working on during the last couple of months rounded off by the whole ‘company’ coming together to sing ‘Have yourself a Merry little Christmas’ arranged by our very talented Josh Kemp.
The mulled wine and mince pies on arrival really set the atmosphere for our parents to watch the final performance of the year.
