I am sat here bursting with so much pride!
Congratulations for shining like stars on that stage all week! I am so proud to have been able to say, ‘Yes, these are my choir” you really do make me beam from ear to ear! From the Musical Director complimenting your beautiful harmonies and tone, the stage manager (and cast members) saying he wishes he could take us on tour with them, the stage door staff thanking me for the discipline and management of all the children and the cleaners saying they have never had such a clean and tidy group of young people.
What is there not to be proud of!
I will miss our weekly rehearsals, each week brought something new to the studio … my favourite week was watching Luke’s face as Georgia made a run from him! ( Sorry, inside joke). Watching new friendships blossom and existing friendships grow even stronger is what this is all about.
But all of this is down to our amazing parents. Without the love and support at home, this could not happen so thank you for allowing me to work with your wonderful children. They are an absolute credit to you.
May I give our wonderful chaperones a shout out too because they have been absolutely amazing all week! From toilet runs to french plaiting hair to hand jiving at the side of stage, you name it, we have done it! Thank you so much for giving up your time to help.
I must say a huge thank you for my incredible and thoughtful gifts too! I was absolutely blown away by your kindness and generosity, so thank you.
Following our 2nd run of Joseph this year, our students were invited to participate in a workshop with two of the Joseph cast members….. Thanks Gemma and Will, they loved it!!
